Just wanted to send a sincere "Thank You" to all of the Harley Rally riders that utilized our facility Shoney's Inn as the place to rest your head when not riding your beautiful HOG's.

The staff at Shoney's Inn Bossier City had the pleasure of meeting some of the coolest people from all over! As the sales manager we hope to see you return year after year and as a life time resident of this area I am glad that Shreveport-Bossier plays host to this great rally!

Once again thanks for including Shoney's Inn on the festivities and we'll see you again next year.

Sincerely,
Lisa Jones

Hi! Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Rally. We traveled from Austin, Texas with our rig, our bike, and our dogs. We had a wonderful time. Was our first time in Shreveport, good choice of venue for the event-- entertaining yet not overwhelming. Relieved to find out how dog friendly you all were.

Anyways, attached are some of the half- way decent pictures we took of our two Chinese Cresteds . "Minerva" (the bigger one) and "Nugget", in their Biker outfits. Just in case you might deem them worthy of display (up to you, no hard feelings if you don't).

Kind regards,
Gil and Marta Lubbers

Just wanted to say "thanks" for an outstanding weekend. We're from the great state of Texas, but your state rally was better than any Texas state rally I've ever attended. We'll definitely go back to Shreveport when the rally is held there again.

Dear John, I call the harley shop and they gave me your name, I have a BIG favor to ask. I have a story to tell that if theres any way you have room in your news letter I would "Thank you very much". Please don't put my e-mail address out but if someone should call you and ask thats ok. Thanks again.

First of all I would like to thank everyone who help with putting on the rally this year every time I've been to Shreveport it's great but, this years rally out done them all.

"THIS IS MY STORY" I hope that I can find who I'm looking for. While I was walking around I saw this girl setting on a bench by the old train station at the rally I ask her if I could set with her and we started talking. We introduced ourselfs and talked about our harleys, paint jobs, and so on. We took a walk and went to look at a friend of mines bike with Eagles flying at night with a full moon, from there we went to a booth where you picked up a helmet you had painted. We walked somemore and seen a few of my friends and we went on and you showed me your bike. We both had the same year models, just different styles. We talk about all kinds of things and I had the best time with you but never ask your last name or anything else. I don't want to say much more about your first name, work, or what you ride, but if you should read this it would be great to talk with you again. I've thought about our short time together and I wish someday that we may talk again. We talked about maybe seeing each other saturaday night at Charlie Daniels concert but that didn't happen, maybe by some chance are a little faith you might see this and call or write, I remember giving you my card. You did tell me you lived in the Sheveport area. For all of you who read this "RIDE SAFE" Thank you!!!!!!

I wanted to send a note to commend y'all on an excellent rally. The people of Shreveport impressed us as well. I have rarely been to a rally or event where the local folks - riders or not - were genuinely glad that we were in their city and openly thanked us for coming, tried to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves and were always prepared to give us accurate directions so that we knew how to get around to where we needed to be.

On another note, I had bike trouble on the trip from Houston to Shreveport. I got in touch with Shreveport Harley-Davidson in the middle of the afternoon and my scoot was in the shop as soon as we arrived and I was back on the road before 6:00 PM. The hospitality and hard work that your people put into this rally makes me look forward to my next trip to Shreveport!
That'll be soon I hope!

Thanks for such a good time!
